Visitors are very welcome to the UNESCO Chair for Problem Based Learning at Aalborg University. Every year we receive between 12 and 25 groups of visitors and this large number of visits has made it necessary to introduce a policy, starting from February 2009.
Workshops for Visitors
Twice a year special workshops for visitor will be organised and participants can sign up for these workshops. These one day workshops will include an introduction to PBL learning principles and the Aalborg PBL model, visits to selected study programmes and talks with selected groups of students. A minor fee (see below) will be charged for participation in these workshops.

The workshop start at 9.00 a.m. and finish at 15.30 p.m.

Special visitor programmes
We may be able to welcome you on other dates during the year – but in such case you need to submit an application for your visit containing the following information:
- The reason for the visit
- Special questions you want us to address
- Special subject fields
- CV for all visitors (½ - one page CV)
- Contact addresses and email addresses for all the visitors
The application should be submitted at least three month before the visit is scheduled to take place and the final programme for the visit, including names of all participants, should be in place one month before the confirmed visit. There is a fee for the administration and organisation of these visits and depending on the size of the group there will be a fee for lunch and coffee.
Special visitors' programme: 900 EUR per day for administration of the programme, 30 EUR per participant for lunch and coffee.
